Corona wheel questions...

On one hand, I'd like to acquire a set of corona wheels for a 1990 240 DL. On the other hand, I like the idea of keeping the car somewhat original. (1) Were these wheels available as a 240 option as late as 1990? (2) Also, when were the original "small" hub covers (approx. 3 cm in diameter) replaced by the larger aluminum hub covers (approximately 20 cm in diameter)? I have noticed that the wheels have cast letters (country of origin, Norway) near the center that would not be covered by the small hubs. (3) Was this the case for early corona wheels that were used with the small hubs.

PS - I need two decent corona wheels. If anybody has a pair they're willing to sell, please let me know (gprater@louisville.edu).

You folks are a wonderful community. I stand in awe of both your knowledge, and your generosity when it comes to sharing that knowledge. Brickboard is the Internet at its very best.
