240 vs V90 S90-V90

Hi Sylla,

The V90 is a lovely car that should be bought in prestine condition and kept that way. Very nice, but more complicated and therefore possibly more problematic then earlier Volvos. Argueably, the ultimate Volvo was the '93-'95 940 with the '90+ 740s, 940s and 240s being a close second. I'd find a nice late model 940 and take it for a spin, nice cars and the design is fairly symplistic like the 240 and many of the parts are the same or similar. I really like my two 740 wagons which, since they are late 740s, are almost the same as a 940 wagon. They have their quirks and clunks, but are great cars. Let us know what you pick in the end. I hope this helps.
