removing tranny OIL

Hi, I just had a similar problem and all I did was go to one of the lube
places, Jiffy Lube here in Ottawa, for instance, and the pleasant people there sucked out the extra fluid. They did not charge me for this service.
Before I hit on this solution to an over-filled tranny, I thought I might get a turkey baster and attach some clear plastic tubing to it, thin enough so that it'd fit down that wretchedly slender top filling hole and solve my problem that way. I went so far as to get the turkey baster and was headed home to find some aquarium tubing when I passed by Jiffy Lube and the rest is history.
Too muuch fluid is hard on your seals so the sooner you remove it, the better.
