FI or Carbs? 1800 1973

It's not so much that D Jet requires too much tinkering, it's more a problem of finding working parts. I've been trying to find a good MAP sensor, but the best I can do is off a VW. It works, but it's not exatly right. New ones, I was told, run over $1000. The car was parked for 12 or 13 years, there are many strange problems due to lack attention. (most of the rubber was bad, etc. . .)
