central locking question 700

The lock motors are wired in parallel so one being faulty should not stop the others working, unless it blows the fuse or burns out the relay contacts.
Bear in mind when diagnosing the problem that the 700 does not have a drivers door lock motor, just a switch that operates the other doors by switching the relay coils.
You can test the motors by putting 12V across the two wires from the motor and then reverse the polarity of the supply.The motor should travel to it`s end stops in both directions.
Make sure the lock linkage is not binding in the noisy door and stalling the motor.
