Brake/clutch problems 700 1989

Just got the turbo project on the road and my one main problem is the brakes. The car stops of course-the pedal just has a lot of travel and feels quite spongy. The other weird thing I noticed is that whenever the brake or clutch pedal is depressed I get a hissing sound from under the dash-could I have some sort of vacuum leak down there? I'm going to bleed them this weekend, replace the clutch slave (it leaks a little), and do new pads and rotors all around (possibly stainless lines as well). Is there anything else I should be doing/looking for?

Thanks,

Matthew
