'71 142 front seat belts 140-160

i noticed my passenger side seatbelt wasnt working and i opened it up to see what was wrong and i couldnt figure it out. so i guess i would try to open the drivers side retractor to see how it worked. welll as soon as i popped open one of the sides to the retractor housing a long copper color coil spring flew out all over the place and now i cant seem to put it back together. well i noticed te passenger side seatbelt was missing that coils spring. if any one knows how to put the spring back in the housing please help. instructions would be helpful but if theres a diagram or pictures please post those to they would help a ton.
i guess i learned a lesson dont take thing apart unless your absolutley sure on how to fix them or how they work!!
