Wow- good info!
I remember reading about the relay problems. And I have no fear of taking them apart and resoldering connections. I wouldn't have known about pin 9 being wrong though. I tried to trace down FI connections using a Haynes (or was it Chiltons) once and found several errors regarding pin assingments. I have a copy of green book now from my mechanic friend. I'll be checking ground and open circuits. Just hope its not defective FI or ICM.
Strange that it only happened once and then was able to restart after a minute. I drove it again today without incident.
