my alternator went in my new cherry pie, a 1982 242 glt that belongs to the 300,000mi. club it also came with kickass stereo and sheepskin on all the seating surfaces. but anyways i was searching around for alts. online and i found a website partsbin.com 101.00 bucks, free shipping and they are genuine 55 amp bosch
