B230 motor mount & oil pressure sener plug questions 200

I just bought another 240. An 87 240, it's not too bad either for the price. I have owned a few early "B21 & B23" motor 240's. And have replaced motor mounts on an 81. Here is my problem. When I was changing the oil I noticed that the oil filter rubs against the right side motor mount (this can't be right). It is also very close to the alternator. When I removed the filter, I was able to repair a few wires that were broke off. I lenghtened them too to clear the oil filter. The motor sits strait and level and doesn't lift off the mounts when I jack up the motor at the pan. But I have a feeling that something is not sitting right. Do I need new mounts? Will that add a few extra inches of clearence if I replace it? I also need the "bullet" style conector for the oil presure sending unit since it was melted and torn off. None of my universal ones fit. Any suggestions.
Ben
