front end repair

So I rear ended someone yesterday in my 87 240 DL. Car still ran fine after the collission, and I drove it out of the intersection. Lights are all smashed and the grill is long gone. Hood folded slightly. Anyway, the bumper and everything else is fine, I think I just need a new hood, lights and the metal part that supports the lights. Does anyone have any experience fixing front ends. Is this metal piece difficult to get out. My Hanes manual says that its just screwed in with the exception of the spot welds at the bottom corners.
