It pays to keep extra Fuel Pump Relays.... 200

While on the way back from work today i notice a Volvo 244 on the side of the road with a EMS supivisors car behind it(light on). As i passed i noticed another car pull up and the driver start unloading items to the other car, so i decide to see if i could help. I turned around as the ems guy left and asked if they needed any help. The Young woman was just about done unloading child goodies into the other car. She said "they" said something was wrong with her fuel pump(they being the mechanics i assume). Sure enough i tried strating it and it acted like it wasn't gettign fuel. So i went to the rear of my car and grabbed the 3 fp relays i had laying in there. I popped her's out and replaced it with one of the ones is , turned the keys and "VROOOOM", fired right up. I Then handed her's back and told her that her FPR probably just need to be resoldered(or "Fosterized"). I gave her a Brickboard card and was on my way,One Fpr lighter and happy I saved a Volvo owner outrageous mechanic fees. My Ramble is now complete. :-)
