Suspension -Install mounting bolts hand tight, with wheels on ground torque? 200

I am replacing all of the bushings on my 1990 240 sedan. The manuals [Blue and Green] say to lower the car on to the ground to torque the bolts. Are they kidding! These instructions were obviously written for someone with a "special" lift. You know the type that can raise the car while it is still on a lift. What's a shade tree to do? I don't think I will have enough clearance to crawl under the car,and be in the right position to use a torque wrench.Maybe the rear might be ok but the front control arms?Your thoughts please.TIA
Nelson
