Well sought after suspension- too much! BUYER'S REMORSE 200 1990

I have had my suspension upgrades for almost a year and I still do not like it even though I have tried. I have a 1990 240. Following IPD's recommendations, I lowered the car, Bilstein HD, and sway bars. It is simply to stiff. It does corner like crazy, but the rest of the ride is just not as comfortable. I like the responsiveness and driver's feel, but the ride is irritating passenger's. Where did I go to far? Would stock springs bring back some civility?
