Going crazy, need to fix 200 1983

I still can't get my car into first gear. I checked the the lock out plate on the shifter, adjusted the clutch, changed the trans fluid, put in a new trans mount. The wierd thing is when I had the car on ramps, I could shift into first. But as soon as I went for a test drive, No first. The clutch is fine. I have been told that the pilot bearing or clutch bearing could be bad. Should I just accept the fact that I need to replace the bearing? if so should I replace the clutch, rear main seal and so on?? Thanks for anyones help..
