oil on top of valve cover 200 1990

we just noticed fresh oil on the valve cover,also seems to be leaking under the intake manifold below the head gasket.the flame trap was replaced 2 weeks ago
with all the hoses, all fittings are clear with no blockage.car has 180K on it.
does this sound like a plugged oil seperator or please advise.thanks
