2-way heated seat switch. 900

I need to re-do the heated seats on my 940. The drivers side element isnt working at all, and I plan on replacing it with some GM ones (I work at a GM dealership and can get them for cheap). The passengers side element works ok, but the temp. sensor dosent. So i have the relay bypassed, but the seat tends to get too hot. I need some form of temp. control. I've seen 740's that have a LO-HI switch for the heated seats. Is the low-heat function built into the switch? Or is this something that requires a separate relay, and associated wiring? what cars were these switches found in? Thanks.
