failed central locking 91 740 700 1991

My central locking system has quit. After reading the archives I pulled the drivers panel and tested the switch connection. I was able to get the relay to click, but no door action!

I went looking for a manual to get a wiring diagram. The only one I could find was a Chilton and it did not have a diagram for the locking system.

Here's what I'd like to know.

1. Is the solenoid output devided into fron and back and trunk? I ask this because it went to working a time or two but only the Pax side. If there are two output circuits then it could be the relay. If not, then it is more likely a wiring problem!

2. Anybody got a wiring diagram (.jpg, gif) they'd be willing to share.

3. what manual will give the best info? The Brit version of the Haines, that covers the 91 740? or another brand? (I'll have to mail order it, regardless and I'm not adverse to spending more to get a good manual.

Regards

Woody
