Wishful Thinking 200

Hi all,

This morning it was pretty cold here in New England ( about 20 F). I got in my car and started it. I then waited about 5 minutes before turning on the heat. To my surprise, there was no response. I believe I have a bad blower motor, but i'm not positive. This afternoon it was warmer outside and the blower still did not respond. The bearings have been whining a bit since I bought the car a couple months ago. Are there any other potential culprits I should investigate? I really enjoy my weekend projects, but I'd rather not change out the blower motor if I can avoid it.

Thanks
