Jacking point question 700

Ok.

I have never bent the bracket with pin either, only whats holding bracket with pin. This problem has only occured for me when either lifting car with wheeled jack on soft surface (giving side tension) or when car body attacked by rust inside.

Picture of one car i fixed damaged liftpoint by cutting away bracket with pin and replaced old rustdamaged plates with new ones and then fitted bracket with pin again.
