Is Chevron Surpreme 5W-30 OR 10W-30 motor oil with ISYO technology a good substitute for synthetic oil 700

Greetings:

Could someone please tell me if Chevron's Surpreme ISYO technology based 5W-30/10W-30 motor oil is a good choice substitute for synthetic based oils. I was thinking of using it in between to save a few pennies. The numbers look fairly good and their methods for this product mimic some of sythetic oil features. I have done some research at www.bobistheoilguy.com what a resource! I know that Amsoil (long-time good customer) is the best, but what is a good sub on the mineral based level (for the money). Walmart has a great deal on this oil. I have used Chevron's 15W-40 in the summertime in all of my Volvos.

Please share all your thoughts and or experiences. It is not my intentions to start a motor oil war debate, however the more info the better one can learn and understand the dynamics.

Thanks
