Heaterblower motor replacement. ( ACC) 700

To all that helped me re: above subject. After blowing two fuses in search for the no heat problem, we finally figured the blower motor was dead. As you know the dealer had it for Cnd$212. From the FAQ site, there was indication that some GM units were interchangeable. I was also adviced on here to check at C.Tire. Well, they carried a Volvo unit for Cnd$68 that came with the motor and fan as one unit. The other GM parts cannot be used on the ACC. Prolly the MCC ones and the GM part is for a Chevy Citation, $30! Now the car heats up well but I still dont feel air from the top dashboard vents. Neverthless, it works well for now and a big saving! The the old one that had seized, it was all rusty i.e water had leaked into it. Next thing to do...find where leak is!
