Dash cap installation 1800 1967

I did the dash cap thing about two years ago on the 66 1800S and I finally ended up removing the dash completely from the car. I guess it might be possible to loosen the dash bolts and the steering column so the whole thing could go back and then drop a few inches, but I don't know. If you have to do any trimming and repositioning I would think dash removal would be the way to go.

Good luck and let us know how you make out.
