Bricksters-

Pre-heat hose, or not? mine was ripped, so i ripped off the remainder, and meant to replace, but have heard that it's only needed in really cold climates. Recently, on cold mornings, i'm noticing an erratic idle, and am thinking that my lack of a pre-heat hose may be affecting the uneven idle. Any opinions or thoughts on this? Also, can i get a cheap replacement, if need be? I called a volvo parts place, and nearly choked when they said something like $44 for new.
