Tailgate Hinge 245 200

Hello:

Consider replacing the tailgate wiring harness at the same time-- the aftermarket vendors sell them fairly cheaply now, or at the very least, splice in extensions in the gate and cut out the section that used to run through the hinge.

Also, if you have one broken hinge, chances are the other one is well-worn as well.

On a recent harness repair, I supported the gate on a board held up by two step ladders on either side of the car. It worked well.
