any problem using the thermostat specified for the turbo in my non turbo?? 900

I posted recently about a car running too cool. Ordered the stat and was very specific when I spoke with FCP that my car was a 94 945 nonturbo. Today from the latest response to my post..Im told that the correct stat for my nonturbo is the 92 degree stat. The stat FCP sent says on it 88 degrees and is supposed to be a vernet(OEM) . Is this enough of a difference to be significant. The guy who took the order at FCP said it wouldnt make any difference. Car will run cold and a bit rich I would assume and performance and gas mileage may suffer a bit??? Curious what you guys would do?? Thanks JOHN.... PS My experiences in past with FCP have been very good.
