My 964 gave up its life for me and my wife 900

Two months ago I was stopped at a red traffic light on US 209 in Pennsylvania, it was 11.45 pm on a weeknight. A guy driving a Mercury Sable rear-ended us going about 50mph without ever touching the brakes or sounding his horn. There has never been any explanation of why he was inattentive or speeding. The 960 literally exploded around us, the sound was surreal. After a short hospital stay we were dismissed with no permanent injuries.
The PA State Trooper said "Your Volvo saved your lives"

I wish they were still manufacturing a large rear drive sedan.
I'm still driving my 1987 245 every day
