Heads 700 1990

hi all, got a major problem. i have a 1990 745gle, the timing belt broke. what is the likely hood of bent valves? the last time it happened where was play in one of the cams, this time there is no play in the cams. so is it possible that the valves are okay? what is the likehood of it? thanks in advance
