Auto to manual Conversion 120-130

Yup, you'll need to have some brackets bent up and welded in to get the proper tranny support to bolt on an originally auto 122.

Mine is an auto that was converted to M40 by using metal plates to reposition the support using the original frame bolting points. However you can't install an M41 with this method, won't clear the OD.

Also be prepared for a very cozy gas pedal location. Unless you have tiny feet, you may think of some ways to give yourself a comfortable pedal location. I adjusted the tunnel with a 2 lb. copper mallet. Helped some.

When you get these brackets done, shop around. An HVAC shop did mine for about $20 out of 16 guage. A hotrod shop wanted to charge me $200.

I may still have the pattern I supplied the metal worker I could provide you with a copy if you like. But I offer no guarantees, I'm just a hack that likes old Volvos.

Good luck,
