B20E head or engine in '72 ES 1800

Hi folks,

I have a B20E head from a low mileage '70E.
I'm thinking of having the head reworked and putting it on the '72 ES's B20F block.
Any compatibility issues there?

Then again, maybe I shouldn't put a freshly rebuilt, higher
compression head on a well maintained but nonetheless somewhat worn
lower end (103,000 miles).

Maybe it would be wiser (certainly more $) to have the whole '70 B20E rebuilt, top AND
bottom, and dropped that into the '72 ES.

Are there compatibility issues with this scenario that need to be
addressed, like differences in the D-jet system's parts or "settings",
or the ignition system, etc., due to the '70 B20E higher compression
engine being installed in the '72 ES?

gary
