Rough Idle and Stalling at Stoplights 700 1991

If the idle swings wildly, like from 400 - 1500 rpm, while you have the car in drive with your foot on the brake, the white plastic check valve on the brake booster could be bad. I had that happen last winter... new valve (maybe $9 from FCP) solved it instantly.
