well, the valve spring tool worked! and here it is! 200

Yeah, as I was researching this, I didn't come across much. Seems like a very rare break indeed. Since I had never delved under the follower buckets before, I doubt that I did anything to mess up the spring, but who knows...Either way, the new one is in, and the tool that I made worked, which really made me happy.
