replacing strut insert s 200 1981

Wait a sec...strut mounts don't "leak." Struts definitely can, but the mounts would not. Unless the bearing has pulled away from the rubber casing, then those are ok. Anyways, the front struts are technically "strut inserts", because they are INSERTED into the strut tube. Where are you searching for parts? the best places for shocks are probably shox.com followed by fgpgroton.com and there are many more. They might be called front struts or strut inserts, but strut towers seems to infer the entire housing, so I would stay away from that. If you're still confused, call the partshouse and ask them. At shox.com and fcpgroton.com (and most of the sites I've looked at), it's quite clear which ones are the inserts. Good luck
