Taking Engine Rebuilding Class 200 1981

If the engine ain't broke, don't fix it. These motors should
run for 250-300k miles at least without a rebuild. As far as
getting your son a Volvo, I always see quite a few 1800ES Volvos
for sale on EBay - y'know, the little 3-door sports-stationwagon
things which they made in the mid-70s. As a matter of fact,
there's one for auction now in Ann Arbor, Mich. - price is
at $1000 and the car is (incorrectly) listed as "P1800 ES".
They're damn fine-looking cars, and I'm trying to decide between
getting one of them, keeping my '88 245, or getting a Miata (I
can only keep one car). Oh, and tell your son that rear spoilers
on FWD cars are generally useless *grin*.
