Friday show and tell 120-130

Dear enthusiasts

I thought I would share with you this alternative to an expensive Centre Console for an Amazon that I made yesterday.

At IKEA in Essex, UK (and no doubt on the same shelf in all their stores across the globe!) I found a plastic cutlery drainer/tray that is exactly the right width to squeeze between the front seats. It's about 10 inches long and about 5 inches wide with a sieve-like base. Cost: £3.00. Just cut off the plastic fixing plate first, and then it's a snug fit.

I covered mine in adhesive felt, which you can find in almost any colour to match the upholstery of your Amazon. And it looks great.

Now at last I have somewhere to carry my infra-red speed-gun detector... erm... (I mean my loose change and bubble-gum).

Good weekend to all,

Tom
