Intermittent Low Beam Failure 900 1991

The low beams in my 1991 940SE occasionally fail to work. This typically occurs when the low beams are switched back on from the high beams, and primarily after the lights have been in use for several minutes, suggesting a heat-related issue. I read of a similar problem, related to the bulb failure relay. Both the bulb failure and headlight relays appear to be intact, and re-flowing some of the solder connections has had no effect. Any pointers?
