Clogged Fuel Pump? 120-130 1964

I suspect the mechanical fuel pump may be going bad or is clogged on my B18 122, due to lack of pressure (causing the car to starve for fuel when given a lot of gas). I lot of sentiment was built up in the line just before the filter which could have clogged the pump (fuel tank has been cleaned). Is there any way to clean the pump or do I just need to replace it?

Also, is there only one fuel filer (just after the fuel pump) in a 122?
