Clogged Fuel Pump? 120-130 1964

According to the Haynes manual you can test the fuel pump.

- put it in a vice;
- fit short pieces of hose on inlet and outlet (better: clear plastic tubes);
- fill a container with liquid paraffin (safer than petrol);
- put the hose of the pump inlet in the paraffin (position container so that paraffin level sits slightly above the pump);
- pump until there are no bubbles in the paraffin coming out the outlet;
- put outlet hose in measuring jar;
- pump 10 strokes an measure amount of pumped liquid;

This should be no less than 1.75 fl oz (50 cc).
