89 245 tailgate shocks sudden failure! 200

I've had my 89 245 for almost 3 months. My tailgate shocks have worked fine until 2 days ago. Suddenly the tailgate no longer stays up. There was no warning. No slow loss of strength over a few days or weeks. They just seem to have given up. Can anyone suggest a good place online or in the Michigan area where I might obtain 2 replacement shocks. What is an average price for these items? Thanks
