760 GLE Diesel engine/tranny bolt pattern?

Hi:

I have the opportunity to purchase a complete and fully functional engine and manual tranny out of a Volvo 760 GLE Turbo-Diesel for VERY low $ (incl. wiring, etc).

I would like to use the engine in a Jeep Comanche (Cherokee pick-up) or Jeep Cherokee and therefore was wondering what the engine bolt pattern is in order to bolt it to some sort of 4WD tranny (AW4 or 700R4 perhaps?).

Since the gasoline powered 760s apparently came with an AW71, I was wondering if anyone knew if:

A) the AW71 and ZF manuals share the same bolt patterns (i.e. does the Diesel and gas engines share the same bolt patterns).

B) if A) above returns a 'yes', then does anyone happen to know if the Aisin-Warner trannies share the same bell housing? I.e. could an AW4 body be bolted to an AW71 bell housing?

I realize these questions may be a bit unusual, but perhaps someone might know anyway.

Thanks,

AR.
