Small clock not keeping time- is there a way to adjust it? 200 1982

When I installed the Large Tachometer in my dashpod it came with a small clock.
This I installed in the small space near the radio. I know I have the connections right (I even reconstructed a harness with the right colors & it basicly works)but the clock seems to be running slower & not keeping proper time. Is there a way to adjust it ?
