Trying to ethically sell a car.

I bought a 1992 745TI (108K) last December. Since then I have driven it maybe 80 miles, it even still has the same tank of gas I put in it after I drove it off the lot. It has been a major source of anxiety since I purchased it. One thing after another goes wrong or needs fixing. I have finally drawn the line, it runs and is together - actually it runs quite nice after the 100 or so hours I spent on it. None-the-less it needs a new home, after I replace the oil pan gasket (long story) and have the wheels balanced of course. It still slaps when it is cold though, but the turbo (PO put in a new one) runs like a champ. How do I quickly and ethically sell the car so as to maximize profit as well as karma? Should I sell it through eBay or locally? I'll have the for sale web site up soon.

Thanks
