mysterious loss of power, still running 200

hey guys,

yesterday morning i was on my way to work, it was very foggy and moist outside, and a bit on the cold side and i had just changed my oil the day before. As i pull out into traffic out of my neighborhood, my '87 245 wouldnt accelerate if the accelerator was pushed more than half way down. The car sputtered but kept running, and if I 'floored it' then the engine would rev, but the car wouldnt go anywhere [transmission]? The overdrive also was inop at the time. Later that day when i went to lunch, the car ran like a champ. Any Ideas, its had me boggled, i've been thinking maybe tranny or vacuum lines.

Thanks in Advance
