73-74 bumper delete 140-160

I was just curious more than anything. I had never seen a 73-74 without them. Bumpers help mostly for protecting sheet metal from slow speed absent mindedness (yours or someone elses) more so than at speed crashes imo. If you are doing 30mph and hit something your car is as good as smoked regardless.

Thanks for the info tho..

One last question.. Do the rear bumper absorber/mounts mount directly to the rear sub frame? On my 72 it's just to the rear valance sheet metal.
