245 tyre size, once again 200

Much was said about this, just to add my recent experience. I have replaced the Chinese-made 185/80R14 Michelin MXTEs that lasted barely over 20,000 km. (Hard city traffic, lots of full-lock turns, prolly should check front alignment too, but crap all the same.) Bought 205/70R14 Goodyear NCT3s (little choice in 70 series in Australia). The car rides much better, bounces less on rough road, and turns better: folks, forget the OEM size for summer use.
