Good shop, Norfolk VA 700

Anyone know a good independent shop in the Norfolk, VA area? (Norfolk or VA Beach would be far preferable to Chesapeake, let alone Hampton or Newport News.) I think I need someone to check out my engine. (Getting loud: dealer said rod knock but I suspect piston slap. However, cold starts have gotten to be a problem too; I've had to hold my foot on the gas over 5 minutes to get it to a point where it would keep running when I backed out of a parking space. And it died on y once driving at low speed through a parking garage.)
