Leaking from bottom of heater contol valve / hose jxtion 900

I replaced the heater contol valve and heater hoses last July with replacements from FCP. PAst 2 days slow leak from bottom of heater control valve/ hose/clamp jxnction/. Hard to see what the problem is because it is buried deep. Can I remove the hose from the firewall and pull it up to check it out?? Appears to be plenty of redundant hose below and I dont want to remove the hose end where it runs under the intake runner because that was a memorable pain in the ass job to get it connected... JOHN
