Will Double DIN Radio Fit in 1992 960? 900

I reposted this message because no one responded to it the 1st time and I have the same question.
"The 1992 965 spousemobile has a nice CR 814 with a dead CD changer back under the rear deck. Rather than screw around with replacing the changer, I'm thinking about installing an SC 815 or 816. However, I get the impression that in addition to wiring, which will not really be a problem, there may be some mounting or spatial contra-indications. Has anybody tried this? Suggestions? reservations about either model?
