power to the gauges 200 1989

I'm starting my 3rd winter without a working fuel gauge and getting tired of keeping track of my miles on a little piece of paper. Of course I can't reset the trip odometer, but at least it still works. It might be time to see if I can fix the gauge....I've replaced it once with one that was supposed to be good ( I trust the brickster I bought it from), but it still doesn't work. The temp gauge usually doesn't either(although sometimes-rarely- it works)I have looked and can't find any obviously broken or pinched wires from the tank. Is it possible that the whole side of the circuit board went bad?Any one else have any ideas on a fix? Thanks
