PROBLEM SOLVED! 200 1986

Well, I don't know for sure what it was now because I did several things at once. But I don't feel like poking around to see if I can figure that out until next time similar symptoms occur.

I wiggled the ICU connectors, and changed the ECU, and pulled the main relay out examined it (looked fine) and reseated it.

I think it must have been a loose ICU or bad ECU. I mean the voltage for the IAC was going through the TPS and back to the ECU (prolly not good at all in wrong area) I know everyone says the ECU's are tough, but 12v into the TPS would surely go somewhere back into the ECU where it's expecting 4.5 - 5.5 volts from resistance...

anyhow, Thanks! I find these posts to be enourmously helpful, now my car runs!

(now to only find a tach and get the Throttle Body cleaned and adjusted...)
